Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 26, 2026

The Baseball Fantasy Camp Community (“BFCC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent online community for baseball fantasy camp participants, alumni, prospective campers, fans, coaches, and related service providers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you when you use baseballfantasycampcommunity.com and its community features.

Information We Collect

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, username, password credentials in protected form, profile photo, location or region, favorite teams, camp history, playing interests, and any other profile details you choose to provide.
  • Community content: posts, comments, discussions, reactions, photos, videos, documents, event responses, group memberships, messages, reports, and other material you submit.
  • Transactions and forms: order, billing, event, registration, survey, and support information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; BFCC does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, pages viewed, login and security events, cookies, and similar diagnostic information.
  • Communications: messages you send to administrators or support and your email and notification preferences.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the community.
  • Create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, and authenticate members.
  • Connect members with relevant teams, camps, groups, discussions, events, and people.
  • Deliver service messages, community notifications, support responses, and requested communications.
  • Process registrations, orders, and payments.
  • Moderate content, investigate reports, prevent spam and abuse, and protect members and the service.
  • Measure site performance and understand how BFCC is used.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

How Information Is Shared

Your profile and community contributions may be visible to other members or to the public depending on the feature, group privacy setting, and profile visibility choices you use. Do not post information that you do not want others to see or retain.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, email, operate, and process payments for the site, including WordPress and BuddyBoss technology providers, SiteGround, SendGrid, Google Analytics, security providers, and commerce or payment processors. These providers receive information only as needed to perform services for BFCC. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer.

Cookies and Analytics

BFCC and its providers use cookies and similar technologies for login sessions, preferences, security, site functionality, analytics, and performance. Where required, we will ask for consent before using optional analytics or marketing technologies. You can also control cookies through your browser, although disabling essential cookies may prevent account or community features from working.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the community, maintain legitimate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it was collected. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Requests

  • Review and update available profile and account information.
  • Adjust profile visibility, email, and notification preferences where those controls are offered.
  • Delete content where the community interface permits.
  • Request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and applicable exceptions.
  • Withdraw consent for optional processing where consent is the basis for that processing.

To make a privacy request, email info@baseballfantasycamp.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

BFCC is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Independent Community and Third Parties

BFCC is an independent community and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Major League Baseball, any MLB club, or any fantasy camp unless a specific relationship is expressly stated. Links to teams, camps, payment providers, and other third-party services are governed by those parties’ privacy practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the community and its services change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or by email.

Camp interest selections

If you register interest in a team camp, we store the team and the date with your member account until you withdraw the selection or delete your account. You can view and withdraw selections from My camp interests. We may use aggregate counts to explain demand to prospective organizers. Selecting a team does not subscribe you to marketing or authorize us to share your identity or private posts with a team. Camp interests are included in account data export and erasure requests.

If you join from a team conversation, we also remember that team on your account so your dashboard can link back to it.

Advertising and sponsorship measurement

Public pages may contain clearly labeled paid sponsorships or advertising. We may record aggregate page activity and sponsor-link clicks in our analytics so we can report performance and improve placement quality. We do not give sponsors access to private profiles, member email addresses, private posts, or individual camp-interest selections. A sponsor's website has its own privacy practices.
