These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Baseball Fantasy Camp Community (“BFCC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at baseballfantasycampcommunity.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BFCC.
Community Purpose and Independence
BFCC is an independent community for baseball fantasy camp participants, alumni, prospective campers, fans, coaches, and related service providers. Unless expressly stated for a particular program, BFCC is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Major League Baseball, any MLB club, or any fantasy camp operator. Team names, marks, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Use one authentic account for yourself unless BFCC authorizes another arrangement.
- You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
Community Standards
BFCC should feel like a well-run clubhouse: welcoming, useful, respectful, and safe. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, discriminate against, impersonate, or deliberately humiliate another person.
- Post hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawfully discriminatory material.
- Share another person’s private information, private communications, or images without appropriate permission.
- Post spam, deceptive promotions, malware, automated content, repetitive solicitation, or irrelevant advertising.
- Misrepresent a relationship with a team, camp, player, coach, sponsor, or BFCC.
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other rights.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, probe security, scrape member data, disrupt the service, or use the community for unauthorized commercial purposes.
- Use member information to build external marketing lists or contact members in ways they have not reasonably invited.
Member Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content, you grant BFCC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve the community. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except where copies must be retained for backups, legal obligations, safety, or content shared by other members.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to post your content. Consider the privacy of teammates, coaches, staff, and family members before sharing photos, video, documents, or personal stories.
Moderation and Enforcement
Members may block other members and report accounts or content. BFCC may review, restrict, hide, remove, preserve, or disclose content; limit features; suspend accounts; or terminate access when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the community, investigate abuse, comply with law, or maintain the service. Automated thresholds may temporarily hide content or suspend accounts pending administrative review. We are not required to publish every enforcement decision or mediate private disputes.
Camp, Event, Training, and Health Information
Schedules, prices, eligibility rules, staff, venues, availability, and other camp or event information may change and should be confirmed with the official organizer. Community discussions about fitness, training, nutrition, rehabilitation, travel, or health are general information and are not medical or professional advice. Consult an appropriate qualified professional before acting on such information.
Purchases and Third-Party Services
Purchases, registrations, or payments may be processed by third-party providers and may be subject to additional checkout, refund, shipping, event, or vendor terms displayed at the time of purchase. BFCC is not responsible for third-party websites, camps, products, services, availability, or privacy practices merely because they are linked or discussed here.
BFCC Intellectual Property
The BFCC name, site design, original editorial content, software configuration, and other BFCC-created materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, or create derivative services from BFCC materials except as allowed by law or by written permission.
Service Availability and Disclaimers
BFCC is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BFCC disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any guarantee that the service or member content will be uninterrupted, accurate, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BFCC and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, personal disputes, or harm arising from reliance on member or third-party content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
You may stop using BFCC at any time and may request account deletion through available account controls or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security risks, legal requirements, or conduct that harms the community. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and enforcement rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as BFCC changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or by email. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
